Connecting Twitch lets Noria react to your channel in real time — announce when you go live, thank new followers, and more.
Link your account
- In the dashboard, open Integrations.
- Click Connect Twitch and authorise Noria in the Twitch OAuth screen.
Noria stores only the scopes it needs, encrypted at rest.
Available events
Once linked, these Twitch triggers appear in the editor:
- Stream live — fires when your channel goes live.
- New follower — fires when someone follows.
- Chat message — fires on matching chat activity.
What workflows can do on your channel
Actions always run on the channel you connected — Noria never lets a workflow act on someone else's. They cover chat (send a message, announcement or shoutout), moderation (timeout, ban, clear chat, and the chat modes: followers-only, slow, emote-only, subscribers-only), the stream itself (title, category, tags, clips, raids) and engagement (polls and predictions). There are also read actions — is the channel live, does this viewer follow, who is in chat right now — for branching a workflow on live state.
A common pattern
Pair a Twitch trigger with a Discord action to cross-post:
When my stream goes live → post a rich embed in my Discord announcements channel.

Re-authorising
Your Twitch connection carries the permissions you granted the day you made it, and Noria refreshing the connection never widens them. So when an action or trigger needs a permission that didn't exist back then, that one step fails until you reconnect — triggers stop firing, and actions report a permission error naming the fix.
Reconnecting takes a few seconds: Integrations → Connect Twitch, authorise again. Nothing else about your workflows changes.
