YouTube works differently from Discord and Twitch: there is nothing to link. You don't sign in with Google — you simply tell a trigger which channel to watch, and Noria subscribes to that channel's public feed for you.
Watch a channel
- In the editor, add a YouTube trigger — New video or Goes live.
- In the Channel field, paste the channel's link,
@handle, or channel ID. - Save (and activate) the workflow. Noria subscribes automatically and renews the subscription for as long as the workflow is active.
That's it — the trigger fires with the video's title, link, and channel details ready to use in your messages.
Available events
- New video — fires when the channel publishes a video.
- Goes live — fires when the channel starts a live stream.
Both triggers accept an optional Title contains filter, so you can route shorts, VODs, or series to different flows — or ignore them entirely.
Good to know
- Any public channel works — your own, or creators you want to relay to your community.
- Notifications are push-based. Noria doesn't poll on a timer; YouTube notifies us when the feed changes, so alerts typically arrive within moments of publishing.
- One channel per trigger. Watching several channels? Add one trigger per channel — they can share the same downstream flow.
